smartphone shows 50+ CPM right? and the geiger counter?
Thanks; I can see that the app with the phone shows real radioactivity but,
at a less sensitive rate than the geiger counter. I just bought the same
app for my Galaxy S4 and I will run a similar test.
CCD (camera sensor) is less sensitive than a normal tube; But is good for
some test!
I used the counter just for a quick comparison, I don’t remember the ‘exact
measured value but it is about 1000CPM
how can i prove to my friends that it really works?
You need a radioactive source. You can try to check old clocks, gas lamp
mantles, tig welding electrodes WT20, WT40, or you can try to measure some
diet salt (KCl).
It works with any mobile phone?
